10 - Creating a New Account in BOE's Permitting System

Creating a B-Permit Account Screen ShotIn order to apply for BOE permit, Applicants are required to create an account at the City's B-Permit application Website.  The following are the instructions to complete this process.

  1. Click "Login & New Accounts across the top menu
  2. Click "Register" to create a new account.  If the Applicant already has an account, they would login to the system at this point
  3. Complete the following information in the "Create a New Account" grid:Creating a B-Permit Account Screen Shot
    1. Company or Full Name:  Name of the company applying for the permit or the first and last name of the Applicant
    2. Contact Name:  First and last name of the person that can answer any questions about the permit
    3. Address (Line 1):  Address of the company applying for the permit or the Applicant
    4. Address (Line 2) - optional: Suite or unit number of address of the company applying for the permit or the Applicant
    5. City:  City of the company applying for the permit or the Applicant
    6. State:  Select from the drop down the state of the company applying for the permit or the Applicant
    7. Zip Code:  Zip code of the company applying for the permit or the Applicant
    8. Phone:  Phone number to the company applying for the permit or the Applicant.  This can also be a cell phone.
    9. User Name/Email:  User Name will be the email address tied to the account
    10. Password:  This is created by the Applicant
    11. Confirm Password:  Confirm the password created by the Applicant
    12. Type Text into Box (Case Sensitive):  This is a captcha firms and the Applicant should type the letters EXACTLY as shown
  4. Click "Create Account"
