A passageway for pedestrians through, over, or around the work shall be provided and maintained at all times. Adequate fences, barriers, lights, and signs shall be provided and maintained in accordance with the current edition of the Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH) Manual from the beginning of removals and excavation through final cleanup after the curing period.
Lights shall remain on from sunset each day until sunrise the following day. If, due to the Permittee’s negligence, it is necessary for the City to provide barriers, lights, or other corrective measures and/or materials, then the Permittee will be charged for the cost of this work as part of ta Street Use Permit (LAMC 62.45). A minimum charge will be applied per the City’s current “Standard Fee List”.
