11 - Operation Clean Sweep, Neighborhood Matching Fund and Community Beautification Projects

Operation Clean Sweep, Neighborhood Matching Fund and Community Beautification Projects are programs and/or funding mechanisms created by the City Council to clean up the public right-of-way through combining the resources of the public & private sectors.

An A-Permit or "B" Permit may be required when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Revocable permission request for encroachment in public right-of-wayWhere a Waiver of Damages is not feasible, a Hold Harmless Agreement along with approval letters from the adjacent property owner shall be required.
  • A Maintenance Agreement signed by the responsible organization or group shall be required.
  • Approval from the Bureau of Street Services shall be required for projects that include any landscaping or irrigation.
  • Fees shall be waived only when the application package is accompanied by a Board Report signed by the President of the Board of Public Works requesting the fee waiver.
